With only three seniors in the lineup, Lacey will be one of the youngest teams in the Shore this season. Despite the youth, however, Lacey has a very experienced group returning. A dozen wrestlers in this lineup saw a good amount of varsity time in 2010 and that, along with the team having a hard working off-season, point to a very promising year for the young Lions.
Down Low (103-140): Kevin Enright is a solid presence and keeps on improving for the Lions. He, along with Danny Moore and Steve Knapp, combined 55 wins last season and should easily eclipse that number this year. This is a VERY young, but talented, group with possibly only three upperclassmen total figuring into the mix.
Up Top (145-Hwt): Lex Knapp is the anchor up top and could be one of the top upperweight wrestlers at the Shore in 2011. He provides upperclass leadership to a part of the lineup that is also very young.
Wrestler To Watch: (Jr) Lex Knapp
Knapp showed a ton of potential in his first year as a full-time starter in the lineup a season ago. He's put the time in the off-season and that, along with the year of experience and adding another year of maturity, make him a definite to keep an eye on through the season. He's a legit contender for a medal at Regions and a possible trip to AC.

With only three seniors in the lineup, Lacey will be one of the youngest teams in the Shore this season. Despite the youth, however, Lacey has a very experienced group returning. A dozen wrestlers in this lineup saw a good amount of varsity time in 2010 and that, along with the team having a hard working off-season, point to a very promising year for the young Lions.
Down Low (103-140): Kevin Enright is a solid presence and keeps on improving for the Lions. He, along with Danny Moore and Steve Knapp, combined 55 wins last season and should easily eclipse that number this year. This is a VERY young, but talented, group with possibly only three upperclassmen total figuring into the mix.
Up Top (145-Hwt): Lex Knapp is the anchor up top and could be one of the top upperweight wrestlers at the Shore in 2011. He provides upperclass leadership to a part of the lineup that is also very young.
Wrestler To Watch: (Jr) Lex Knapp
Knapp showed a ton of potential in his first year as a full-time starter in the lineup a season ago. He's put the time in the off-season and that, along with the year of experience and adding another year of maturity, make him a definite to keep an eye on through the season. He's a legit contender for a medal at Regions and a possible trip to AC.
